If the Moxso add-in hasn't been automatically installed to your Outlook, you can do it manually. Here we walk you through the installation.

Adding Moxso add-in manually to Outlook

You can manually install the Moxso add-in for Outlook if you are having trouble with the automatic installation. You can do this in two different ways: using Outlook on your desktop or Outlook's website. Below we present the the guidelines to installing the add-ins manually:

Option 1: Outlook on your desktop

  1. Launch the Outlook desktop app on your Windows or MacOS computer.
  2. Select “File” > “Manage Add-ins” for Windows, or “Tools” > “Get add-ins” for MacOS.
  3. In the add-ins window, click on + (plus) and select “Add from file”.
  4. Go to the folder where you saved the our add-in and select the “manifest.xml” file.

Option 2: Outlook on their website

  1. Go to or your organisation's Outlook web app-URL and log in to your account.
  2. Open an email and click on the three dots in the right corner of the email's subject and toolbar.
  3. Select “Get Add-ins” at the bottom of the list.
  4. In the “My add-ins” tab, click on “Custom add-ins”, then click + (plus) icon and select “Add from URL”.
  5. Enter the URL you got from us.


If you experience a problem when getting the add-in through the URL, follow these steps:

  1. Open your web browser and insert the manifest.xml URL to view the XML output. Save the XML output by clicking “File” > “Save as…” > “manifest.xml”.
  2. Go back to Outlook’s website and select “Add from File” instead of “Add from URL”, and go to the folder where you saved the “manifest.xml” file.
  3. Click “Install” to complete the installation.
